Well, actually this page is more About Me…and shoes.
Being a shoe-lover, I’ve always had a problem of organizing my shoes.
When I returned home from Hong Kong after 3 years and was in the midst of clearing out all the stuff I had in my apartment, I was distressed to finally have to face up to my old shoe cabinet containing all my old shoes – a problem I had tried to ignore for years.
My shoes were in such a sad state! They were all stacked up one on top of each other in dusty and moldy cardboard boxes and had themselves, also become moldy. Yucks! My poor shoes.
I had to practically force myself to go through every box and shoe in the cabinet, and was pleasantly surprised to find shoes I had forgotten I had loved, or shoes that brought back wonderful memories. I decided to find a way to store and organize ALL my shoes, as they deserved, whether they were shoes from my past, or from my recent collection.
And that’s when I found the perfect solution.
I found some plastic shoe boxes online and was thrilled.
‘What an awesome idea!’, I thought.
After receiving the products from 3 different stores, I realized that they each had their advantages, but none was perfect, so to speak. One was made of hard plastic like a piece of Tupperware and really difficult to open.
It was also bulky and couldn’t be stored away when they were not used. Even though these were sturdy, they provided no ventilation for my shoes.
Another was made of soft plastic which was too flimsy and sadly, didn’t stack well. The last was better but didn’t have ventilation holes and it was a struggle to open or close the boxes without toppling the tower of shoes.
I then decided to come up with the perfect clear shoe box, and so, after months of design and sourcing from around Asia. BLiNC! Clear Shoe Boxes were born!
I hope and believe many other girls out there will love this product as much as I do, as will their friends!
